The Sapphires: Movie Review

Movie Review:The Sapphires

The Sapphires is an inspirational tale set in the heady days of

the late '60s when four young, talented singers from a remote

Aboriginal mission are discovered and guided by an unlikely

manager. Australia's answer to The Supremes, The

Sapphires grasp the opportunity of a lifetime when invited to

entertain American troops in Vietnam. Their journey of

discovery offers them not only the chance to show off their

musical skills, but find love and togetherness and grow as

women.

My Fractions Wall. By Fine

A fractions wall can help me see which fractions are bigger and helps me with maths equations for example : Which is bigger 1/6 or 1/9? If you looked at the fraction wall you could easily see that 1/6 is bigger than 1/9.

My message from the Whizz Professor.

Should Panmure Bridge School have a cafeteria?

Should P.B.S have a cafeteria?

Introduction:
Pies, sandwiches, apples, kiwis, YUMMY! Obviously Panmure Bridge School should have a cafeteria, but I’m still wondering why we don’t. This is my argument on why Panmure Bridge School should have a cafeteria.

Argument idea 1: Healthy food
If Panmure Bridge School were to have a cafeteria or a tuck shop, students would be much healthier than they are right now because our cafeteria would have the healthy tick. The Healthy tick would provide food which is healthy. Students would get food that is delicious but at the same time nutritious.

Argument idea 2: Jobs
Secondly , if Panmure Bridge were to have a cafeteria, it could give someone in the community a job or if students are helping at the cafeteria, they could learn how to divide money, cook or give back change.

Argument idea 3: Thinking straight
Thirdly, if every student were to buy food from the cafeteria, every child in the school would not be hungry during the day, and they would be able to think straight.

Conclusion:
Overall, three main ideas are mentioned in my argument for why Panmure Bridge school should have a cafeteria. Firstly, healthier food would be provided for the students at Panmure Bridge. Secondly, having a cafeteria could give someone or a student in the community a job and thirdly, when you eat food from the cafeteria you wouldn’t be hungry all day and you would be able to think straight. Those are my main reasons for why Panmure Bridge School should have a cafeteria.☺

Finding fractions

This term I have been learning to find fractions of a value. I figured out that, half of ten is five. A quarter of eight is two. A third of nine is three. A fifth of fifteen is three.

My Ideal Classroom

This is my ideal classroom. I would like an Art Area because if a student spilt paint / dye on the ground, they wouldn't get in trouble. This is my ideal classroom because it has a lot of space and there are things that Room 5 doesn't have in our classroom. A reading room would come handy, if you want to read a book but the classroom is loud. The desks that I have in my ideal classroom are different shapes, so students can choose a variety of desks to sit in. We have aquariums, so students can have responsibility in looking after a school pet. If you go to the top right corner and press 3D my Ideal Classroom will turn into 3D!!
