Transformation in Cultures

My collaborative transformation uses one media - Pastel It shows one transformation. It shows reflection.I worked on this piece of art with my partner Samantha. We wanted the collaborative transformation to be a flower but instead it looks like butterflies wings.

My Term 1 Highlights

This a fotor collage of the things that I enjoyed especially this term. The Eastern Beach photo shows how I liked Kayaking and learning new things like how to turn the kayak around. The Tuakana Teina Time Photo shows how I enjoyed participating in the Easter Egg Hunt with Room 1. The Identity Dance Crew Photo shows how I enjoyed watching dancing moves and learning to never let distractions get in your way and don't let dreams just be dreams. The Duffy Assembly photo shows how I enjoyed the funny acting and costumes. The Transformation in Cultures shows who I really enjoyed using warm and cool colours when doing my art.

Duffy Assembly

Today Peter, Mary, visited our school and put on two shows to entertain the audience. The funniest part was probably when Halatoa, and Cyprus two year 7 boys had to dress up as old women. At the end Peter and Mary got a standing ovation from the school.

Tuakana Teina Time with Room 1

Today the Easter Bunny visited Room 1 and Room 9. Altogether there were 81 Easter eggs! Room 1 had a splendid time with us and liked the chocolate. Thanks Easter Bunny!

My Awareness Poster By Fine

This is my awareness poster that I created with three other people. Together we made a poster that would make people aware to be safe around roads and be good role models when children younger than you are around when near roads.  Being safe around roads means

  • Looking both ways
  • Holding hands when crossing the road with younger people
  • Stay away from busy roads without crossings or traffic lights when with younger children

Tukana Teina Time with Room 1.

Today, room 9 did activities with students from room 1. Tina said " I like the pink flower. It is for my baby brother Vaingalo".
