Why did you choose this person’s artwork?

Because his artwork looks like him and he used contrasting colours.

What would you do next time to ensure your artwork is just as good?

I think I would have an up close photo.

If you were going to give this person a rating out of ten what would you give it and why?

a 10 / 10 because his artwork looks like him, there are no smudges, the colours are contrasting colours and he has dyed inside the lines.

My Andy Warhol artwork. By Fine.

This is my Andy Warhol artwork. For the past 2 weeks we have been learning about Andy Warhol in artwork. We had to take a picture, trace the picture onto a piece of paper, Outline it with a vivid and finally dab a variety of dyes onto your artwork. Then you have to cut all of the 4 papers evenly and mount it onto a black piece of cardboard to give that colourful look. I hope you like my artwork and leave comments too. Thank You.

Reflecting on my Andy Warhol themed portrait

1. Are you pleased with your Andy Warhol themed portrait? why / why not?

Yes I am because I put a lot of effort into my artwork.

2. What did you find easy when you created your portrait?

I found tracing my picture with vivid easy because I knew where to trace.

3. What part did you find tricky when you were creating your portrait? -think about tracing round your face, outlining your face using a black marker pen, dabbing areas using the dye, dying the background.

I found tracing my face with a pencil onto my paper hard because I had to go really hard and my pencil broke a number of times.

4. Who / What helped you when you were creating your portrait?

Miss Paton helped me because she showed me the steps to make an Andy Warhol artwork.

5. What would you do differently next time? Think about: tracing around your face, features on your face, dabbing the dye colours, colour choice, photograph, time management skills.

I would choose my colours differently because I wanted a variety of colours.

6. What frustrated you when you created your Andy Warhol themed artwork?

I think what frustrated me was dabbing my artwork with a cotton bud and making no smudges. I had to dab within the lines and had to wait for each segment to be dried thoroughly before I could apply the next colour.

Reflecting on my Silhouette Painting

1. Are you pleased with your Silhouette painting? why / why not?
Yes, because it is the first time I have made a blended sunset with a silhouette and I want to remember my first kind of artwork.


2. What did you find easy when you created your silhouette painting?
Folding the paper because it was easy to fold it because you can’t get anything wrong unless you haven’t been listening.


3. What part did you find tricky when you were creating your Silhouette painting? -think about blending of colours, tracing round your animal and painting within your animal.
Well definitely tracing the animal because once you think you're finished you have to check if you can see the traced animal on your artwork because if you can’t see the traced animal you have to start again but in the same spot.


4. Who / What helped you when you were painting?
Miss Paton helped me by showing me the steps to make
my silhouette painting.


5. What would you do differently next time? Think about: blending of colours, animal choice, presentation.
I would change how I painted my elephant because I didn’t take my time and I rushed.



6. What frustrated you when you created your Silhouette painting?
Tracing the animal because it's really hard.

My story on my artwork. By Fine

This is my piece of artwork. I know you think it is just another  beautiful piece of artwork, but I say it is much more than that. It has a nice sky blue that can sometimes calm you down but also can also make you feel very sad.the silver / white glitter means peace that I think everyone needs before they go to a planet, don’t you think. Also Venus. . . . . . um . . . . don’t you think the blue does make a peaceful color?. Hey and do you think that the stars are a sign of death?. I think it is because it is a sign of the people who I have tried to reach the stars and failed. I believe that it is a sign of the people that have died. I really like  my artwork so please leave comments because I will reply.

Printmaking Reflection

 1. Are you pleased with your prints? Why / Why not? 
Yes. I am because I have but a lot of effort into my prints.

 2. What is your favourite print and why? Crayon Rubbing, Crayon and Dye, Dry Ink and Wet Ink 
My favourite making of the print is the crayon print making. 

3. What is your least favourite print and why?
 My least favourite print is the dyed print. Because I didn’t turn out how I wanted it too. 

 4. What did you find easy?
 The dyed print. 

 5. What did you find hard? 
The wet ink print. 

 6. What would you do differently next time?
 I would change the colour of the dye on my print.

 7. Who / What has helped you in the printmaking process? 
Miss Paton has really helped me in correcting my mistakes.

 8. What is something you have learnt from printmaking? 
 To cut curves right. Also to do my olive leaves correctly.

Yes. Because I have put a lot of effort into my Hot Air Balloon.


2. What did you find easy when you made your Hot Air Balloon?
Colouring in the origami basket.


3. What part did you find tricky when you made your Hot Air Balloon?
Drawing the eight segments.


4. Who / What helped you when you made your Hot Air Balloon?
Angel, Taryn, Asmah, Latisha and Miss Paton.


5. What would you do differently next time? Think about: Painting, Smoothing, Gluing of ribbon, Glittering and Time Management.
Painting the segments slowly not all at once.


6. What frustrated you when you made your Hot Air Balloon?
Gluing pieces of paper onto my balloon.
