Kids for Kids festival
This was a photograph taken from when me and my friends were on the bus heading to the Kids for Kids festival. In the picture there is Caitlin, Samantha, Angel, Me, and Leenas. Angel and Jasmine were the soloists from our school. Angel was picked at the Kids for Kids festival as a soloist for Weather With You. Sadly Jasmine wasn't picked. I was a ukulele ninja and I played with Nathan King and Jackie Clark!
How much views do I have on my page?
I have 9,285 views on my page. That means 9,285 people have viewed my page. When I was a year 5, just last year I started off with 0 views. Then at the end of last year I had 2,655, so more people have been viewing my page. Thanks To All the people who view my page!
Breakfast
For Breakfast I had a sausage roll with coke. I also had a special treat from my aunt which was an L&P / Whittikar chocolate bar. My aunt that has been in the hospital over the few weeks, joined us, but then went to the North Shore with my mum.
The Competition
Just before term 3 finished, Room 5 and the seniors of Panmure Bridge School was told about a certain competition that Manaiakalani was holding over the holidays. Pupils at our school, and pupils from other school's were told to created posts if we wanted to be in the draw to win a bike and other prizes. So if you are not sure why i'm making so much posts over the holidays, that is the reason. :) Happy Holidays to all!
Have a good holiday Room 5.
This year is almost over. This was a picture taken at the beginning of the year. At the beginning of this year, we never knew each other, but we have learnt to know each other over these terms. I hope everyone in Room 5 has a fantastic holiday!

What Did I Do Today
What Did I Do Today
Today was the last day of my primary school for this term. I go to Panmure Bridge School. This week our school had been focused on production, so we never really thought about the end or term. Today Miss Paton gave us treats for doing such a splendid job on our production item. After school we went to Edge Water College to drop off my aunt who works there. Then we went home. Being at home was boring so I started to read our bible. Then I fell asleep, before I woke up my brothers had dinner with out me!!
The End

Production Refelction. By Fine
Reflection on the Production
By Fine
What is the storyline?
The storyline of our production is when Papa Earth Mother and Rangi Sky father, two maori gods decided to send their four sons ( Aoraki, Rakiroa, Rakirua and Rarakiroa ). The four brothers sailed in their canoe, their canoe became land. That land is still here today, it goes by the name of Te Waka o Aotearoa or The South Island of New Zealand.
What are the roles? Who are the backstage people who make the props? Lavinia plays the character of the beautiful Papa Earth Mother, Halaiano plays the character of the strong Rangi Sky Father. Aoraki is played by Latham, Rakiroa is played by Creedence, Rakirua is played by Cyprus and Rarakiroa is played by Thomas. Tuterakiwhanoa is played by Patrick and Mokopuna and friends are played by Samantha, Caitlin, Jasmine and Oh S’mar. Angel is the Narrator and the extra people are fishes, eels, flowers, trees and tall mountains. Miss Nichol helped us paint our Jigsaw puzzle, I painted the sun! Mrs Kelly helped paint and make most of the props. Angel and I helped paint the rock and then Caitlin helped us paint the Bush. Drawing the waka was very hard because it took a long time. Patrick, Halaiano, San Tat, Tuteraki’s Waka needs to be finished.
Angel, Samantha, Caitlin and I painted and drew the waka. Mr Bowden then put wood against the waka to support the waka.
What role is Room 5 taking in this year’s production?
Room 5 is taking the role of the Southern Alps.
What props need to be completed?
How did you make the props / costumes? (Did you work alone or in a team)
On most of the props we worked on in together or in a team because it would of took a long time, or we would take turns on finishing things.
Do people who have speaking parts need to work on their role? Have they made progress?
Lavinia has made more progress with being angry, Halaiano has learnt how to say the four brothers names, Angel is speaking louder every time we practise and I think I need to improve with my actions because I need to be my character ( A goddess ).
Are people using their voices and bodies to use expression?
Lavinia express how angry she is when she moves her hands and when her voice gets louder, Halaiano wipes the sweat off his forehead to show the audience he has worked hard at pulling the mountains, I have to make a grand entrance that I haven’t been doing for a while ( I really need to work on that ) and Tuterakiwhanoa when he has brought the seafood into the lakes and ponds.
What needs to be improved?
Ducks, eels, fishes, mountains, trees and flowers need to know when they shine, The four brothers need to get use to the waka. People need to be looking at the audience throughout the whole performance. People with speaking parts need to speak louder and use actions. They also need expression.

My Production Goals. By Fine
Production Goals
How to move from an OK performance to a Very Good Performance Move from being ZERO to HERO
* Talk slower - EVERYONE.
* Look at the audience when we are speaking and acting out our parts.
* Use more expression.
* Don’t get distracted by the people behind- Cyprus, Thomas, Patrick, Linda, Fine, Angel, Jharda’e, Samantha, Oh S’mar, Jasmine, Jason.
* Know the timing off by heart.
* Talk louder - Fine, Angel, .
* Be confident don’t be shy.
* When you hear your cue- act on it.
* Look not laugh when someone makes a mistake
Don’t giggle when someone is acting.
* Bodies facing audience, but also looking at the actor beside you - include your audience.
* Don’t get distracted when you’re back stage.
* Use some actions when you’re talking.
* Get ready back stage.
* Spread out those who are flowers, mountains, fish.
* Don’t let your class down.
* Put lots of effort into the class performance.
* Take your role seriously.
* Leave other people alone.
* Concentrate on your part.
* Try and make the performance real
This is my production goals. I think I have to work hard to reach my goals. One of my biggest goals is to talk louder.

My Instructions on how to create a Friedrich Vordemberge Gildewart Painting: Composition NO
Title:
Instructions on how to create a Friedrich Vordemberge Gildewart painting : Composition NO
Equipment:
* Example of Friedrich Vordemberge Gildewart painting : Composition NO.
*A2 size blank paper
* 1 x 30 cm ruler
* 1 HB pencil
* Eraser
* Different shades of paint - three
* 2 paintbrushes - 1 thick brush & 1 thin brush.
* Old t - shirt ( optional)
Instructions:
1. Plot dots on every 5 cm horizontally on your A2 paper.
2. Place your ruler horizontally against the dots to make a line , now slowly drag your pencil against your ruler to make one big line. Keep doing this, and it should create your lines horizontally across the page.
3. Plot dots on every 5 cm vertically.
4. Place your ruler vertically against the dots to make a line, now slowly drag your pencil against your ruler to make one big line. Keep doing this, and it should make lines vertically across yor page.
5. Number your boxes so you can use your coordinates. The numbers should be on the border of your grid, vertically and horizontally. Horizontally the numbers should be up to 11 and vertically it should go up to 8.
6. Starting off will be hard , but to help you use the coordinates I will help you draw the first shape. From (1,3) vertically to (1,4) horizontally, draw your line to make one big triangle.WARNING:Remember these coordinates are at the top left corner.
7.Drawing the next triangle it will be much easier. From there (2,4,) draw the line straight down, this triangle should be inside the triangle we just drew.
WARNING: Remember these coordinates are at in the top left corner, but inside the triangle we just finished.
8. Drawing this triangle won’t be as easy as the last but I’m pretty sure you will be able to finish it. First, you will have to measure ( 7, 2) and then rule it straight down to make a triangle. ( You will also have to draw an outline).
WARNING: Remember these coordinates should make a triangle in the bottom left hand corner.
9. Make another triangle but bigger than the last few ones. the coordinates should be from (5, 8) vertically and (8, 11) horizontally.
WARNING: Remember these coordinates should make a triangle in the bottom right hand corner.
10. Draw another triangle. These coordinates should be from (8, 9 ).
WARNING: Remember to draw this triangle inside the triangle we just drew.
11. Draw all of the coordinates, you should be able to do the rest.
12. Use your eraser to lightly erase the grid lines once you have finished.
WARNING: Remember not to erase you lines that you are going to paint in.
13. Pick your 3 acrylic colours you are going to use.
WARNING: Remember one of your acrylic colours has to be white.
14. Paint the three darkest areas on your paper.
15. Continue painting shapes, but they have to be the same shade.
WARNING: Remember to add white throughout all your shades.
16. Paint the shapes outside using a different colour. Use your third acrylic paint to paint the outside shape
WARNING: Remember to your third colour has to be a colour that will stand out.
17. Now, you can do touch ups in case your artwork looks rough.
18. Spray your artwork with hairspray to give it that sparkling look.
