Art with Mr Dodd.

Wednesday 4th of March 2015, Graham Dodd visited our school and gave us an art lesson. He taught us important lessons about the shading and lighting when colouring in a picture. I enjoyed this session because we learned a lot of essential tips about colouring in pictures. Every student was given the opportunity to colour in and draw. The picture was based on the modern and ancient New Zealand. I think we still need to work on not rushing our colouring. To make the objects look 3D, we colour in the objects that are in the distance pale, and the objects close up bright. We also learnt that an easy way to learn the colours in the rainbow is to remember ROYGBIV.
